Wedding Jewelry

When you are choosing your wedding jewelry, you should probably have the dress picked out first. The dress is the most important part of your attire for your wedding day and you can enhance it or drown it out depending on the wedding jewelry you choose.

Necklaces are beautiful with strapless dresses. There is nothing hindering the view of the necklace since there are no straps and you can make it as simple or as fancy as you would like; it more than likely will only enhance the beauty of the dress. Vintage wedding jewelry offer a good assortment of nice necklaces and a different touch for your wedding. However, if you are wearing a halter top dress that curves around your neck, a necklace is probably not a good idea. Part of the beauty of this dress is the fact that it halters instead of straps onto the shoulders, so adding a necklace in the middle would take away from this.

One necessary piece of wedding jewelry is earrings. With the halter dresses, it is okay to have dangle earrings, fancy earring, and even big earrings because you are not wearing a necklace. If you are wearing a necklace, say with the strapless or even the shoulder strap type of dress, the earrings should be more on the simple side. If you have big, fancy earrings with a necklace it will take away from some aspect; the earrings will most likely take away from the necklace, and maybe even the dress itself. Instead, the safest bet for earrings is simple diamond ones. They are classy and elegant, but simple.

On your fingers you should wear no wedding jewelry. You should not have jewelry added on your hands that might take away from the engagement and wedding rings. You should probably not even have a watch or bracelet on your left arm at all so that the ring receives all of the attention. On your right arm, a bracelet is okay, but keep it simple. Make it a thin bracelet, possibly a diamond one, that only enhances the beauty of the dress but does not take away from any other aspect of your outfit.
