Comic Engagement Photos

If you are planning on having a themed wedding pertaining to comic books, or if you, as a couple, simply really love a specific comic book, there are ways to incorporate this theme into your engagement photos.

For starters, if it is possible to recreate your favorite scene from the comic book, do it. Put up scenery to add to the background of the photos and maybe do a few poses from the scene in the comic book as some of your pictures. To take it one step farther you could even do snapshots similar to the comic book in order and recreate your favorite moments.

Another way to incorporate these comic books is to find cardboard copies of the heroes to add to the scenery. You could pose with the characters or copy their moves from the book. You could even have a third party person dress up as the character and be in the photos with you, maybe have the enemy, if applicable, to hold you while your groom tries to save you from him.

The best way to incorporate a comic book into your engagement photos is to actually dress up as the characters in the book. You can visit Halloween stores to find costumes made for these characters. If these stores do not carry them, there are online website you can find the costumes at such as sites made for the specific comic book and its followers or sites that sell used items may have a costume used by someone in previous Halloweens or parties and no longer has a use for it. You can also have these costumes tailor made for you for these photos.

Once you are in costume, you can recreate certain parts of the comic book or make your own story by having sequential photos taken and write your own word bubbles with them; you could even write the invitations by word bubbles in your photos.
