About Wedding Dresses and Accesories

Picking out the perfect wedding dress is essential to feeling and looking beautiful for a bride to be on her wedding day. There are so many different styles and choices out there that it will be both fun and maybe a little stressful finding the perfect fit. As a general guideline, here are some of the different styles that have been created.

The neck line is an important factor in the wedding dress. While there will be plenty of photos of the entire dress, the neck line is what will be seen the most. Strapless dresses create a feminine look that shows off the collarbone. Then there are dresses with straps across the shoulders that look similar to tank tops, but these have a variety of forms that can be played with including thin straps, thick straps, and different designs across the top including straight lines and curves. Finally, the other main neck line look is the halter top in which the dress embraces your neck and provides complete coverage for women who may be a little more gifted in the top, but still allows for skin to be shown on the back creating both a conservative and sexy look.

Next is skirt of the dress. You could go for a tight fitting look in which the dress hugs your body. Or you could find a dress similar to Cinderella in which the skirt puffs out and has a fairy tale look to it. There are also dresses who find a middle ground and incorporate both of these looks into one.

As for accessories on your dress, you can add tiaras, veils, and trains to the back of them depending on how traditional, simple, or fancy you want to feel on your day. Other additions to some dresses include corset tops that fit tightly and look antique, or sequins that add a sparkle to your dress. Any way that you go, your dress should be tailored to you and what you want to look like on your special day.
