While some couples want a marriage that is traditional, others would rather have a more modern one. Then, there are couples who would like to have a movie themed wedding.

If you are going for a movie wedding the first aspect you need to consider is colors. Figure out what colors first come to mind when you think of the film or and incorporate them into your brides maids dresses, grooms men ties, and table arrangements.

After you have your colors chosen, work with a photographer to do engagement photos and find a way to incorporate the theme into the pictures. For instance, if you chose Tarzan you could take photos in a forest dressed in animal skins. If the theme is The Little Mermaid, have your photos taken on a canoe in a lake. Try to find a way to set the theme of the ceremony to prepare the guests in a visual sense before the wedding day arrives.

Then, when you send out the invitations, choose colors to match the sets you are using for your movie wedding and have the font make sense with the wedding theme. For instance, if you are using a horror film, use a creepy font that sets the mood.

Finally, you your dress has to be highly in tone with your movie wedding theme. For example, if Beauty and the Beast is your choice, then you could take a photo of the yellow dress she wears in the motion picture to a dress maker and have them make the dress as saw in the big screen. If there is no dress, lets say if it is a documentary or short story, but you still want to make the dress match the theme and the movie, you could always work with a dress maker to create a look that fits what you are looking for.
